Biography
He was born in Planet Earth, February the 10th of 1970 in Ulldecona (Tarragona, Catalonia, Spain, Europe).
When he was young he already had skills for drawing. In fact, instead of listen to the teacher and study, he passed his time drawing races, dolls, etc... He began with the comic, very trendy in the 80s, but there were not good scriptwriter, so he desisted.
He loved impressionism and the painting period starts in 1992. The first paintings have classic leitmotifs, as still-lifes and are totally self-taught. In 1994 he starts an artistic drawing correspondence course, he soon finishes it drawing at night, because he works in a furniture factory ten hours a day.
His passion for Art grows and he starts making the first caricatures to his friends, he soon acquires style and technique. Streets become the place for hunting fresh caricatures. Tourists let him draw on their holidays and he learns very quickly with a lot of different models, together with painting, caricatures become his passion.
In 1997 the change arrives, he starts studying in Esardi school of Amposta, working together with the Llotja of Barcelona, where he passes his exams every end of course.
After two years of studying and working he leaves the factory and he decides to finish his pictorial technique and mural painting studies. Streets and to be on the dole are the only means of living.
The first summer on the Mediterranean coast is an economical disaster but creativity grows and he wins some painting awards. With a better self-esteem summers get better and he can pay his artistic career and his studies, which he finishes in 2002.
He begins to investigate mixed technique, with new materials, shapes and colours. He makes some exhibitions abroad and he wins some awards. He also publishes some of his caricatures in magazines and he continues working as street caricaturist.
Until today, he feels like making Art, creating beauty and with a lot of hope.
